El 17 de Octubre de 1996, un grupo de estrellas veteranas y contemporáneas del Jazz se reunieron en una distinguida velada sobre el escenario del nuevo Carnegie Hall de Nueva York para rendir homenaje a un hombre más conocido por sus películas que por su maravillosa música. Sin embargo, como cualquier fan de Clint Eastwood sabrá, sobretodo después de sus 30 años como director, la oscarizada estrella de cine también es un amante empedernido del Jazz, que sólo ha integrado su formación musical en las partituras de sus películas.
